In today’s environment, the importance of a good education continues to increase, and both employers and members of the business community agree that education is vital to one’s success at work. Unfortunately, the cost of education continues to increase every year. As a result, fewer potential students have access to higher education. Our goal is to encourage children to strive for academic excellence by alleviating some of the cost of a post secondary education.
Established in 2006, The Continental Group Scholarship Fund enhances educational opportunities for the children of current, full-time employees of The Continental Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries. The Continental Group, Inc. demonstrates its firm commitment to education and the community at large by annually contributing to this Fund. Dade Community Foundation administers this scholarship program independent of The Continental Group, Inc. Eligible applicants must be high school seniors and the children of current, full-time employees, working at least one year for The Continental Group, Inc. or its subsidiaries. Four scholarships are awarded each year.
