Training

An integral component of our associate relations strategy is our industry-leading training programs which provide our clients with the most knowledgeable and service-oriented professionals to support their communities. Through training programs, our associates learn the fundamentals of property management along with courses that supplement their professional growth and personal interests.

State-of-the-Art Learning Center

The Diane Burt Learning Center is an important part of our client service program and is used for both internal team training and for the training and education of association boards.  The center features the reproduction of a building and its common areas, such as roof, pool, domestic pump, landscaping, irrigation, HVAC, elevator guard gate house, front desk and more.  Here our associates receive hands-on instruction on the safe and proper operation of the various types of equipment found within our communities enabling them to maintain the highest standards of excellence.  Additionally, The Learning Center features six computer stations used for our ContinentalConnectTM  software training.  All of our Community Association Managers undergo an intensive training program which includes comprehensive classroom and on-the-job training.

 

FMP School of Professional Development

Through our partnership with FirstService Residential Management, we are excited to offer our associates access to the industry’s most comprehensive online training system, FMP School of Professional Development.  Associates will receive a custom required curriculum tailored to their job function and career goals, along with a wide variety of elective courses.

We respect the time commitment volunteer boards make to support their communities and believe educating them on various operations will allow them to make more informed decisions. Board members are always welcome to visit our Learning Center to take advantage of this valuable and unique resource.

Mobile Janitorial Training

Our “Just Add Water” mobile janitorial training program includes onsite training for:

  • Interior cleaning
  • Floor care
  • Fixture and furniture cleaning
  • Safety precautions

Not only do we have a mobile training program but we provide onsite janitorial training.  Our training is focused on effeciency which in turn is cost effective for our clients.

Focus on Safety

Providing a safe, drug-free and hazard-free workplace is just another way we are committed to our associates. All of our associates are safety trained before going on the job and are provided the necessary equipment to ensure their safety. By practicing awareness and following all recommended procedures, we can increase safety and decrease the chances of unnecessary injuries.
